Kathmandu, Feb 11

Nepal have won the ODI series against Canada being them comfortably in the second ODI at the TU Cricket Ground by four wickets.

Chasing 286, Nepal did so with 29 balls to spare thanks to superb innings from Anil Sah, Rohit Paudel and Dev Khanal who scored 50, 87 and 76 respectively.

Winning the toss, Canada chose to bat first and scored 286 thanks to Aaron Johnson, Navneet Dhaliwal, Shreyas Movva and Pargat Singh. On what looked like a good pitch to bat on, the Nepali bowlers did well to restrict Canada to below 300 thanks to two wickets each from Rohit Paudel and Kushal Malla.

With this, Nepal have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

The final match of the series will take place on Monday.
